Patrick Noonan’s skills as arbitrator and mediator are built on a wealth of hands-on legal and business experience.

As General Counsel, he sharpened his dispute resolution skills in leading formal dispute proceedings, as well as in negotiating and managing transactions and the resolution of follow-on disputes. He has acted as counsel in arbitration, litigation, before administrative bodies, and in mediation.

Patrick Noonan has brought this foundation to his international arbitrator and mediator practice.  He has insight and judgment based on experience to see what issues matter, what process is useful.  As a former Senior Corporate Officer, he has an ingrained focus on practicality and efficiency in dispute proceedings.

His subject matter and arbitration/mediation experience is broad, and particularly rich in:

• Construction and Infrastructure claims
• M&A claims, shareholder disputes
• IP disputes
• Commercial claims (warranty, distribution, agency)

Patrick Noonan has worked primarily in technology industries: telecommunications, energy, and semiconductors.

Global arbitration and mediation experience.  Notable cases had seats in Dubai, Morocco, Norway, UK, France, Spain, Canada, USA, Brazil, Korea, Singapore and China, under rules of DIAC, ICC, AAA, KCAB or ad hoc.

He is listed on various panels, rosters: AAA-ICDR, CPR, CMAP, SCCA QICCA, CEDR, EU Arbitrators and Sustainable Development Experts for Bilateral Trade Agreements; and databases (LCIA, ICC Dispute Board members).
